What I Had To Know As A Junior Front-End Developer
When I got my first job as a Junior Front-end developer I was asking myself a question: “Do I know enough for this job?”
This article is about the things that you have to know at your first job position.
Basic HTML/CSS
This is just the basics and is sure you will have to use it.
The only thing that maybe was not told to you is that you don’t need to know it by heart and of course, you do not need to know the solutions to all the situations.
It is normal to search for the answers on the Internet (even if it is simple and obvious). 😉
You don’t need advanced JavaScript
Yes, yes, I wanted to avoid it but if you want to be a Front-end developer and not just an Integrator, you have to know it.
It is not easy in the beginning but believe me that in your first job position nobody would ask you to solve the complex bugs that even senior developers cannot fix.
Git commands
Most of the companies are working with some services like GitLab or Bitbucket or anything similar to it. That’s why it is very important to know the basic commands.
